2021 Christmas Fragrances

Every year brings the fun, challenging and ultimately very rewarding task of mixing, creating and finalising Christmas fragrances. Personally, I like to change my offering every year but often regret that decision when so many of you request previous fragrances.

This year I decided to keep two fragrances from last year (improving the fragrance notes), bring back one huge favourite from Christmas 2018/2019 and introduce a brand new fragrance for 2021.

So without further ado, lets talk Christmas fragrances.

Siberian Pine & Eucalyptus

Formally Christmas Tree, this year I took my favourite seasonal fragrance and recalculated the mix of ingredients to form a fragrance that is invocative of decorating a Christmas tree at the beginning of the festive season. It's an exhilarating mix of of pine needles supported by a middle notes of sandalwood, musk and eucalyptus resting on a base of fir balsam and precious woods.

Orange, Cinnamon and Nutmeg

Another former fragrance, Christmas Spice has been reformulated and I think the result is a fragrance that is far more agreeable and less punchy (the fragrance throw is just as good, just with less clove). This year's offering is a festive favourite featuring top notes of zesty, fresh peely orange and a warm and spicy base of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Frankincense & Myrrh

My goodness, you all love this fragrance and I didn't expect it when I first tested it. First introduced in 2018, returning in 2019 and then taking a sabbatical last year, Frankincense & Myrrh is back (I can hear you all cheering). Best described as a sophisticated, cologne-based fragrance, Mr Clause has never smelt so good. With no changes to this fragrance, it's still a dark and mystical fragrance with notes of frankincense, tuberose, violets, myrrh and amber.

Christmas Eve

A brand new fragrance that I've never sold before, but has been in the mix since Christopher Scents' inception. I've always been hesitant at releasing an alcohol inspired fragrance but trust me, if you enjoy a Hot Toddy or Mulled Wine during the festive period, this is for you and will quickly become your new must-have Christmas fragrance. The very essence of the Christmas Spirit, snuggle up and embrace the scent of rich rum, buttery maple and hints of creamy vanilla with undertones of high whiskey.
